It's early 1987 and the 26-episode cartoon Ulysses 31 is being repeated on Children's BBC on Thursday afternoons. In this clip, Broom Cupboard presenter Phillip Schofield, ably assisted by Gordon the Gopher, "sing" the theme song, in vision. This preceded the singing of Mysterious Cities of Gold and is a very funny clip!

    I would say yes too...born 1978

  • Kids tv now is just comercials for what they can sell later.

  • @theblazingangel I think kids tv was like that back then. I don't know if I'd call it adult, just kids werent ask talked down to as much as they are nowadays. Look at something like Tintin that had very mature storylines for children.

  • @SuperCmac84 Yup...

  • Go scoph

  • Is this the broom cupboard?

  • @rojblake82 Even though it was a kids cartoon, it did have a more adult feel to it. I loved it but it certainly wasn't for every kid.
