Apologies for the quality - camera isn't too great at close ups.

  • this board is better than z68x ud5 b3?

  • @CamiloJimenz In my opinion, yes, because this one has an HDMI port which allows use of Lucid's Virtu.

  • I'm thinking about picking this up. How is it so far? Any crappy BIOS problems? How is overclocking ease?

  • @TokyoFreeze79 It's been working great for me! Took awhile to get everything set up for SRT since I'm using my SSD as a boot drive and for SRT but now that everything is running, no issues at all. Haven't done any overclocking yet. I have a 2600K but am still using the stock cooler (was waiting for the now released Corsair H100) and am a bit worried about OCing with it. Once I have the H100 installed, I'll report back though. Thanks for watching!

Ahhh! I was just about to ask you about the cooler compatibility. I'm also picking up a 2600k i7. May I ask what tower you have?

Thanks so much for the feedback. I can't wait to put the new machine together. I'm running a crappy:

ASUS P5N32-E SLI LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard

    +

    Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4GHz LGA 775 Quad-Core Processor BX80562Q6600

So I'm dying to put all the pieces together and order them all at once.

  • @TokyoFreeze79 I have an Antec 1200. I was running a single core Athlon so going to a 2600K with 16GB of RAM and a SATA III SSD is just wicked awesome!

    That's what I'm going to! :D

Can't wait. That Antec 1200 looks nice and roomy.

I'm going to steal your suggestion and order an H100 as well. I hope it fits in the COOLER MASTER HAF 932
