The "Honda Tell Overture" is fine-tuned. The City of Lancaster, CA graciously allows the team to cut grooves in a stretch of highway. The idea of the Civic Musical Road is becoming something real.

I agree. Just imagine if that creativity and engineering were used to aleviate world hunger, or find a cure for some disease, or some other worthwhile cause? hmmm

I can't imagine that drivers would care about road noise that sounds similar to some song... i know I don't want to hear that or feel the vibrations that I'm sure it would cause...
why do you need to know where I am? you gonna come find me and kick my ass for saying this is a stupid waste of time and energy to make this commercial? LOL

FACT: Drivers will drive in the speed limit to hear the best produced sound.
So, my opionon is that they will save gas which means green...

it's so funny to me how car companies like Honda toot their own horns about how their cars get great gas mileage and try to appeal the new 'green' movement of conserving energy, etc.. and then they make commercials like this one ... I wonder how much energy was used to run the machine used to cut all those grooves in the road so that they could burn gas running over it just to make those noises. Every time I see this commercial on tv, all I can think is "what a COLOSSAL waste of time and energy"
