Two decades ago Congress strengthened the Clean Air Act in an attempt to limit emissions of some of the most hazardous chemicals -- pollutants that can cause cancer, brain damage and other serious health problems. But an investigation by the Center for Public Integrity and NPR has found that the toxic pollution persists in hundreds of communities, including two cities in Pennsylvania. This video profiles those cities.

  • The most important message I got was that there is no guide as to how close the chemical emitting plants can be to one another. It's no wonder that there is so much cancer and other illnesses. So many plants have been installed without the true integrity of looking into all the consequences. Anyone hear about the BP Oil Riggs that were installed on ground filled with unexploded bombs? There's so much we don't know. It's time to find out & do something about it.
