@iowarails Yes it seems you are right but why not Metre gauge as in Kenya railways? or "The Good old EAR&H? Cecil Rhodes railway obviously did not go though Rhodesia or Zimbabwe?

@duxberry1958 I was there in 1965 to 68 shame I never took any photos of the engines, I was too small. Do you remember 8 shots per film but we still have our memories. I love steam hence.

A few were used in England, but there was not much need for them there. Information on where they operated is readily available on the net. I did a quick search and was surprised at the number of countries that had Garratts.

Nice video, to bad they are not a type well received here in the US. Do you recall what gauge that RR is?

Railways in Zimbabwe are 3' 6" gauge.
