Imagine being able to see a bioplastic bag as it breaks down- providing convincing evidence that a claim is real. Woods End lab's biodegradation studio enables our clients to "see inside" active compost piles where a product is being composted with our custom designed, glass surfaced Bio-Boxes. Ads like this for the SunChips compostable bag were created using time-lapse photography at the Woods End Studio.

  • Sorry but not sure that I believe you on this - please can prove otherwise?

  • this is very unrealistic and computer generated.

“Compostable” plastics are too expensive for everyday use, and there are very few composting facilities. Also, as it is difficult to separate compostable plastics from other plastics, many industrial composters do not want plastic of any kind in their feedstock, and it is not suitable for home-composting.

Compostable plastics damage the recycling process if they get into in a normal plastic recycling waste stream.
