Hello! This is my second video for youtube. I decided to make a timelapse of a 3d water dragon that I designed based on the following picture that I found online.
http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w42/Gigglywinks/wongwaterdragon6ul.jpg
I have made this dragon 3 times now. First time was on a single player map. The second is on the joe.to special server and will eventually end up in a youtube video if enough creations are completed on that server. The 3rd time that I completed it is in this video, which I made on my private server that I made mostly for 3rd person view recording. The first 2 times I made the dragon, I used diamond ore, diamond blocks, and ice. The one in this video is made with two relatively new blocks called lapis lazuli ore and lapis lazuli blocks as well as using ice for the wings again. The total time to build this was about 85 minutes according to the resulting files from recording.
I will continue making more minecraft timelapse videos of creations that come to mind. I am also accepting ideas for what to build. If you want to suggest an idea for something I should build then either pm me or leave it in the comments below. If I like the idea then I might make a video for it and add the user's name to the discription.
I have uploaded the .schematic for the dragon without the water shown in this video. The resulting size with wing span was 75W x 24L x 64H.

Since so many people don't seem to know how to use a .schematic file, I am adding a link to MCedit. To use the .schematic file, run MCedit and use the tool labeled "Import". Select the file then place the imported structure where you want it. Please read the information on the site if you are confused on how to use MCedit.

Schematic2Blueprint:
http://klaue.net16.net/programme/ownprogs/java/schematic2blueprint.en.php
This program does exactly as its name says. It converts schematic files into a layer by layer image. Maximizing the program will make the grid easier to see since this is a very large project.
For anyone that doesn't know how to use MCedit and schematics or just wants a new world with the dragon in it, I have uploaded a map with my dragon in it. I also removed a crater of lava from it that was trying to burn down the forest. Here is the link.

Also now imported to a Minecraft 1.8.1 creative mode map:
(not exactly a good map but still an enemy free map)

@TheVandarus If you mean how long to design it, I have no clue. But it took 85 minutes for me to built this in minecraft.

Great job, but you should have made it 3x bigger, then you could have made the teeth appear *pointy*

@Empirax Thank you, I am glad you liked it. Unfortunately, it already reached the sky limit. If I cleared all the way to bedrock, I could only double the size of the dragon. =\
