In December 2005 we started on a big, big project - documenting martial arts systems currently being taught here in Norway. The name of the project was "KAMPSPORT I NORGE (Martial Arts in Norway).
We filmed many styles and instructors, but due to financial problems, the project stranded a couple of years ago. We still have lots of material in our vaults, and maybe we can do something with it, release a single dvd or upload some of the material here on YouTube... time will show..
Anyway, this is a new upload of the trailer for the project, and now it`s in much better quality than before (play it at 720p), and we have added some color grading as well. This is the official trailer for our upcoming DVD "Martial Arts in Norway". Here we have collected THE BEST of Norwegian martial arts! Volume 1 covers 8 different styles, including Shotokan Karate, Wu-Tan Kung Fu, Hapkido, Aikido, Mixed Martial Arts, Doce Pares and Chen Taiji Quan.
We have some of the top instructors in the martial arts community of Norway. Thomas Hytten and Joachim Hansen (MMA), Garry McKenzie and Frode Strøm (Wing Chun), Martin Boag (Shotokan Karate), Danilo Huertas (Doce Pares), Kurt Wong and Paolo Castaneda (Wu-Tan Kung Fu), Christopher Robinson (Tai Chi), Bo MIkael Lindström (Hapkido) and Mouliko Halèn (Aikido).
