Severus is also my favorite character of the book.

Personally I don't think it's fully Sev's fault for becoming a death eater, I'm 100% positive if he had a good friend or two he wouldn't have gone down that path. I honestly would've tried harder to be his friend, not just to help him out every once in a while like Lily, how could you NOT see him end up doing something bad, with no good influences or helping hands?? Not forgiving Sev for what he did was childish, she should've helped him & convinced him, not bear a grudge. :S

Personally, i go deeply feel sorry for Severus but what hes done is too bad to be forgiven - but no one can take away from him the fact that he was devoted to Lily!
