A few quick revs with some repacked Denco's. She's not jetted yet so I didn't wind her up too much.

  • Do your self a favor and sell the pipes. Runability is 10X better w/ stock exhaust.

  • Not in a million years. I've done 300 mile days with these pipes and had no complaints. If your jetting is on, there shold be no problems. Stock pipes are boring. Might as well ride a 4-stroke.

  • There's no apostrophe in Dencos.

  • Uh OK...

  • I worked at Denco in Fremont, California from early '74 to late '78 and yes Dennis Dean was the owner (two n's) Dennis started the company in his garage along with his wife Judy with a bit of a partnership with former Kawasaki Factory rider Tony Nicosia, who owned TNT Performance. Back in the day, Denco was the premier Kawasaki two-stroke authority, performance and innovation were what made us famous. Racers like Bob Carpenter and Paul Gast often sought insight and knowledge from Dennis.

  • @superduckz I ran dencos on my 74 H2 750 from the moment I bought it, they were awesome pipes, the only thing I had to do was repack the mufflers with fiberglass every so often. I also had a 72 h2 with the stock exaust, the dencos sound better and they are much lighter

  • thanks for info bro

  • actually he could be using the possessive form of denco not the plural

  • The originator of the Denco chamber was Denis Dean. He wa pres of our Oldsmobile Race Team, The Ramblin' Rockets, in the '60s. One hell of a guy and one hell of a tuner! Piver (AKA MadDog) Hi Rusty!!!
