@abedevillearce there insurence sent me a check for $2500...so i orderd the same door same color off of ebay for a little over $300 and kept the rest of the money in my pocket

That's not insurance fraud. He never gave them a made up a receipt or invoice or ask for the $2500. They overpaid and that's on them. They paid him to go away and didn't want him to bad mouth them and tell all his friends what happened to his car. They decided to pay him $2500 and he found a way to get the door fixed cheap. He didn't have to get the door repair at all if he didn't want to it's his car. Was he suppose to have some mechanic shop charge him $2500? Then the mechanic would be fraud.
