Thank you for sharing. My son (also trisimony) who is now 2 has been trach and vent for about a year. we are starting to ween him now. Anyway I have used you tube many time to learn all kinds of things from how to build a vacuum former to how to play guitar It just dawned on me to look up trach care Im glad some did it already god bless

We used velcro ties, but we had to trim off about 3/4 of the ends to make it a) go through the holes on the trach, and b) not cut up his neck. Also, we used a neo size on his trach and a ped size on his vent. He's off the vent at this point, but we had it rigged up for a ped strap to keep the tube on his trach.

Thank you! He's a precious boy and I don't think we have any idea how good we had it with his level of patience with us and all that we needed to do for him (and to him). God so richly blessed us and continues to do so.
