WestJet Landing in Toronto - Part One

The first of a two-part video. This one showing the descent into Toronto. We had to dodge building thunderheads throughout, providing us with some real nice turbulence ;) that made it impossible to hold the camera steady at times.

Going on the exact same flight on sunday. The last time i flew to toronto in 2005 no..2007 was really stormy and my ears hurt so bad because decended too fast because of the storm. D: so excited though. Do you think i would get in trouble for filming with the new restrictions of the attempted christmas bombing? I just wanna film the toronto landing but its hard to conceal the camera. Oh well ill se what happens.

@M1sterHamilton You can always ask one of the flight attendents if you could tape the landing. They probably won't mind.

Did your ears hurt to much from the pressure change? I thought the hurting ears on my first flight were REALLY baad.

There was a bit of pressure in my ears and head (especially my head) but it wasn't bad enough to be painful. I seems that some people are more prone than others.

THere was no turbulence, this is a SMOOTH ride.. I dont get it ??

I was talking about the landing being a bit of a bump. Especially in comparison to the landing on our return trip, which was super-smooth, could hardly feel it :) The flight itself (in the video) had a bit of turbulence, certainly nothing major but enough to cause me to smack the camera against the window at times, but that was thanks to the thunderheads the pilots were navigating around.

Great vid! I love the approach into toronto! it's my #2 favorite approach behind deer lake, this is one of the few videos on youtube with the descent and approach!

mmkay. yeah ive filmed a lot of landings but i just do it secretly just in case they say no and then if they caught me filming after saying no then i would be in big doodoo D: it wouldnt hurt to ask though..
