I've always found the USA's priorities very odd. They have enough money to fund and operate 10+ of the biggest and most powerful nuclear powered aircraft carriers ever built, not to mention a seriously over sized military generally, but they can't double NASA's budget? Or feed their poor? Or give free health care to all of its citizens?

Speaking as someone living in the UK, looking in from the outside, America really does need to get its priorities straight.

Why if you have problems with your health care system are you not going to your goverment, so they can help change it. But I think that was to hard to understand.
