This is the original demo version done by Ceybil for a potential LP track ,both this and I appreciate were originally meant for Ceybil but later passed on by Atlantic.Later on Columbia records suggested putting Diana King on the track in guest capacity to get her some dance exposure.Her version was featured on a Columbia Dance compilation and later a 12" was done as well.

Awesome, Joey Negro also smashed this on his Essential Mix, can't remember what year, 95 or 96, but that was the first time I had heard this.

Kathy Brown re-cut the track for Defected sometime later.

as far as im aware the guy above is correct this is Sybil Jeffries, Kathy Brown did another version in about 2007 on Defected Records (Funky House) . I also have a version by Dj richard on pump records & a mashup with the k.brown accapella over Blaze's precious love (10 inch vinyl)

@ugnsotsm57 I believe it was David Shaw (davegetzoff in the comments here), Cevin Fisher and Peter & Vanessa Daou who wrote the track but I'm not sure who did what in the production. You could try asking David by replying to one of his comments.
