Bloomberg reports that Intel (INTC), FTC to settle antitrust case... the Los Angeles Times reports that Time Warner Cable (TWC) is reportedly considering whether to "roll over or get tough" on network demands for higher fees from Disney (DIS), which owns ABC and ESPN. The Globe and Mail is reporting that Xstrata (XSRAY) CEO Mick Davis says the company would be open to a deal with a commodities company like Glencore International if it can add "considerable value" to its shareholders. The company hasn't received a merger or takeover proposal from Glencore, but the says the two have held discussions...and finally, the Wall Street Journal reports that Americans are spending more on electronics and less on durable goods, according to Commerce Department data.
