I am a Muslim but have always loved the beauty of Russian/Slavic Orthodox music. It sends s shiver down my spine. I suggest as a Catholic to perhaps attend a Ukrainian Catholic service. They are essentially Orthodox in practice, but are in union with Rome. Their services and music are also the same as the Ukrainian/Russian Orthodox. Also if u love the wonder of Russian Orthodox music, then look for the Stretensky Choir... AMAZING and spine-tingling!! All the best.

@Psalm130 It dosen't make a diifference what Laurus did on earth. He's already stood before the terrible judgment seat of Christ. Don't worry about the cannons of the church , worry about yourself. As I do about me .

Laurus sued the convent on Moss Island for their property, when the latter refused to join him in the MP. Some "Christian" Laurus was. Canon 3 of the 7th Ecumenical council forbids the appointments of bishops by the civil authorities. And the same canon condemns those in communion with such an entity. The MP is in violation of this canon, as are those in communion with it.

Tch, no respect for the dead! If he was so horrible, why dont you try praying for him instead of condemning him? No, easier for you to pass judgement- now THATS Christian, isnt it?
