A 6 month student project filmed in 2005 focused on the house music DJ and progressive nightlife in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The documentary features exclusive footage and interviews with Alex Peace, Paul Anthony, Mea, Jon Pegnato, Richard Humpty Vission. DJ Rap, Kenneth Thomas, Kid Krazzy, and many more national stars. During the late summer of 2005 the film was briefly featured at two venues within the city and made its way to the Waterfront Film Festival. Unfortunately, the piece didn't go any further.

  • Wow! I would love to see this documentary in its full version. How do I go about doing that?

  • hey thanks. Unfortunately the film didn't go very far after it was completed. The documentary is two hours long, but until I find the time to upload the whole thing on here, you can view a few scenes of it on my youtube page. Pretty much anything with DJs will be from the documentary. Cheers.

  • Ok Cool!

  • There was a scene in Grand Rapids in 99-2000. That died off pretty fast.

  • no scene in GR...sorry there just isn't.

  • yea whats the status on this; looks like a great documentary

  • whens this doc coming out, sounds interesting.

  • dude, you can never be to old for any kind of music, I've seen ladys in their 50's getting down at undergrounds just talking about how much fun it is. Shit, 29 isn't that old at all. :-)

  • I am 29 years old very old for this kind of music if I was 16 I could listen to it...

  • Were you talking about techno music in general or Madcap Syndrome,either/or/both you must not be aware how much talent, skill, and money it takes to produce this, maybe your use to $20. garage sale bought guitar bands with heavy metal screaming about killing a cat!! be a little open minded,I even give that crap a chance.Dan Krzykwa
