Jonzie25 - Uhhh "sitting out the war" doesn't mean what you think it means. Just just means that he was taken out of circulation by the VC and was not returned to service until it was all over. I am NOT against JM... I just don't elevate him to a "great" choice as POTUS. Me comparing him to Dubya' was unfortunate. You're right I should have pick a better negative example than him but I couldn't think of one while I was typing...

I wasn't besmirching McCain's war record. My point was that VNW doesn't make him a "great" choice for leader of a world super-power. Whatever else his qualities are beyond his military prowess is par with everyone else running. He's only a fallible human being who happens to be a Conservative-Republican! I don't favor ANYONE of them as our future leader...

Agreed. Ofcourse if Waterboarding works so well and is not torture why has the United States only used it on a few prisoners. If its totally legal everyone captured by the US could recieve "harsh interrogations" including waterboarding to extract information.

The US police officers could use it to extract information from criminals aswell as its not torture or against anyones human rights.

Waterboarding is torture, Torture is illegal, Bush is a criminal :)
