Also, I love what you did with the lyrics during the first 'chorus.' When I read them from top to bottom after they had all appeared, it was an interesting way of interpreting the song...whether you did it on purpose or not.

The worst part about listening to this song is that it completely captures a huge part of my life at the moment. I'm in love with a woman, and I share my life with her, but there's someone else I could love just as much. Like the narrator in the song, I just have to leave her in the dark although she illuminates parts of me that I didn't even know existed.

This song is so spot on, it allows you to feel the pain of all three people in this situation. I love Ani Difranco, and her ability to to capture all those stirred up feelings in my heart, and put them in words that I can understand. Thank you for this video, I love what you have done with it!

i had lost a love and was running to take my mind off of it. This song came on my ipod and it literally took my legs from under me. for 5 minutes all i could do was kneel on the shoulder and cry. poignant, moving stuff.

@KusumaPrabhak This song punches you in the gut even harder after you've listened to everything that comes before it on the 'Reckoning' disc. Both discs are great listens all around, plus, it has crazy cool packaging (or at least it did when I bought it ten years ago.
