This dog was part of the Hurricane Katrina rescue efforts. He was sent to a supposedly 'sanctuary' where he was confined to a small travel cage for 5 weeks. So your comment about 'what do you think is going to happen' is apt, though not all dogs will have this kind of response. When he was rescued yet again, this was the behavior he displayed on his return.
