A hydraulic briquettes press made from stuff we had lying around
Some metal and a hydraulic jack ( 3 ton ) were used to create this.

What is your ratio sawdust to paper? That is a nice setup to return the jack to "starting" position. I think I would want to make more briquettes per pressing though.

I forgot how much the ratio was. Have not used for a long time.
Use more sawdust then paper, that i know. Otherwise the briquettes don't burn well.

I use a mixture of paper and sawdust
Make sure you use enough sawdust.
I used to much paper in the beginning and the briquettes did not burn enough by them self.
