Arizona Music Pro - Taylor GS Model Acoustic Guitar Review by: Daniel Meshad
http://www.azmusicpro.com/index.cfm?fuseAction=pageFling&page=generic.cfm...
Introduced in 2006, the GS is an original design from top to bottom — and the first new Taylor shape in over a decade. It was a hit right out of the gate. Expect acoustic power with every note, with deep, piano-like bass, rich mids and clear, balanced highs — and plenty of volume. Its a whole new flavor of Taylor tone. Available wood combinations: Mahogany/Cedar, Maple/Sitka, Rosewood/Cedar, Rosewood/Sitka. Check out http://www.azmusicpro.com for more information!

  • Cedar is actually much mellower and quieter than Spruce.

I'm not trying to be a douche, I just figured you should know since you sell guitars. Keep it up. Cheers.

  • its funny everyone raves about rosewood back and sides but in my opinion mahogany always seem to sound better

  • GS5 for me please!

  • Funny, it seems that the people doing guitar demos never prepare anything beforehand, so they seem caught off guard when they have to play something. Typically they strum three chords on the guitar over and over, probably the first song they ever learned to play. Come on guys, you are not doing these guitars justice! Play them fingerstyle, fast, do walking bass lines. It's like test driving a Ferrari,- you don't just put it in first gear, drive to the grocery store and say: Ok it's a nice car.

  • I bought this GS7e model back in April 2008 and love it! I like the mellow / woody sound of the cedar top.
