I'm attracted to the pitch in his speech, but how many other diplomats have fought for the same thing, and then when they get to Capitol Hill they broke every single promise they ever made, or followed through on their promise in a way that felt more like an under-handed sales tactic than a genuine promise. If this guy can stick to his guns, he may very well obtain my vote. I voted for Obama last election----I regret that I did.
