lol, found out that the inner mechanics of an ordinary G-2 Pilot pen can be applied to the inner workings of a double-action hidden blade.
This design is easy. A pen has a push button, spring, and inner locking mechanism. Drill a hole in the button, run a string through the tip of the button and out of the base of the pen, and you get a pull switch that activates the pen to go out & lock, and retract & lock

This is basically a conceptual idea i had discovered, and i must say, it pretty cool... i think. if a larger, metal version w/ an OTF knife were created from this concept, it might just work pretty damn well.
