I knew it! Haruki and Michiru are the first yuri characters in anime! after seeing Utena I thought that they are the first yuri anime because of the old design it looks older than Sailor moon but now I know for sure :)

haruki and Michiru are not the frist yuri anime characters. you have to go see part one. there just the most inporent bacouse thay were the frist yuri characters add to a main stream show and the frist one most wester anime have got to see.
