It's ok,but my cam doesn't use this compression, therefore a 2gb sd card can hold only an hour of recordings.

Hi Fishy! The cool thining in this is the battery life.3-4 hrs! but my one is an is-dv2+ or v5tg, which records in avi and fills the 2g card in an hour :(

I have the DZO-V50, which is very similar to this camera. Although I'm not ecstatic about it, I have to admit it actually performs well indoors with a normal level of artificial light. I would say it actually performs better indoors than my Samsung MX-10. The mic really sucks tho.

I noticed also that it says on the Aiptek website that the camera can use USB power as a power source, but I don't think it's true. Maybe a Y USB cable would help, but it doesn't work for me. It will draw enough power to run the internal memory and card reader portion, but not enough to actually record video.
