Florence: A Survivor Story

What goes through one's mind when, sitting uncomfortably across from the doctor, she tells you the words that you knew were coming but still take your breath away? "You have cancer." Shock, disbelief, fear are just a couple of the things that run through your mind. How do I know? My friend Florence told me.
A year ago, she was given that diagnosis. The last year she fought like hell, harder than she ever has for anything in her life. And when we met for a bite to eat last weekend, I asked her if she's share her story.

Technology has come a long way! I'll keep Florence in my thoughts and prayers. I can tell she's very focused and determined. Cancer can kick rocks!
