Thomas Whitfield's contribution to gospel is one of the untold stories in black music!!! His style of play on the hammond organ persist in the Black today. Many of the gospel artist today are influenced by the T. Whitfield.

I never saw him on the organ. Very talented young man. GOD bless him. I'm not in the church but I read my daily bread, and I do visit various churches In my town, but I don't see this kind of rejoicing anymore.
