Great video. Nice Cerakoate job. What kind of sights did you put on this? It looks like the rear sight is Novak. The Rock Island Armory 1911 Officer's model comes from the factory with stock Gi low profile sights. Can you recommend a rear Novak sight for this model of 1911?

Call up NIC industries and ask them if they have a sprayer near you.

sir, how hard is the cerakote, i mean how resistant it is when it comes to scratches? i'm planning to change the color of my fa, but i want something sturdy enough and easy to apply, paint that wont need any extra labor. thanks.

Creakote is very durable, It's not paint and it cures in the oven. There is a learning curve when applying.

It just has the the stock novack style sights that came with it. A sight for this model or the Gi model?

Excellent job on this 1911! It has inspired me to have the upper/receiver on my Sig 516 done in the midnight bronze with matte black barrel & furniture - next I'll also do one of my 1911's in bronze.. and possibly the slide on my P2022 ;) really like this pistol!!!
