I can trace my family tree back to the 1100s, I have Celtic ancestors(on my paternal grandmothers side) and I'm as white as can be but I still consider you to be as English as I am. The average racist doesn't give a shit about ethnicity, all they care about is skin colour and I think for many of them it's a form of culture shock because they didn't grow up in areas with a multi race community so they just don't know how to react.

@TheLawnGrower Thanks, and very true. The worst problem is that these people will teach the next generation and pass on the hate which would be even more irrational and less personal than with the parents because at least they developed their feelings whilst the children may end up expressing only what they have been taught and not come to their own conclusions. :/

@talara18 I'm not half black, Africa is a huge continent so you get all skin tones there except eastern asian of course. kenya I think is where they are from but not sure exactly what part of Africa :S

@RegoSaya I meant Black in the American sense. ps I'm also mixed. Half Serbian half Jewish. what other countries are your origins from, I saw in another vid you said you're part Polish?

@talara18 Well as far as im aware I have relatives in China, Canada, Pakistan, Kenya, Ireland, Scotland etc. not sure about the ethnicity of them because some are from my dad's side and the others from my mothers side so they may just be white people living in china or they may be mixed race with chinese im not sure, actually a bit confused :S but I don't think I have much Polish as far as I know so far, I have a fair few Polish friends though :)

I remember back in School, you used to get asked 'where are you actually from?'. Then again, you can expect it from younger teenagers I spose, but if people were to say 'You're not English', thats ridiculous. It would be okay for people to ask you where your ancestors are from or older generations of family, because aslong as it's a curious/friendly question (and not a rude, conniving one), then it should be okay.
