How to buy the right antioxidant cream for acne prone skin??????
-
Rather than using antioxidant pills, capsules or what have you, wouldn't it be a lot more beneficial to eat whole foods that contain the same vitamins ?
Firstly you are consuming the whole piece of food which is a part of your daily meal, your body still absorbs that same vitamin, just as it would with thee pill or capsule, so whats the point in paying a big price for a jar of pills when you can pay a fraction of the price for whole food that contain the same vitamins!

It really drives me crazy to see so many antioxidants sold in poor packaging. I completely boycott anything sold in jars these days after I had to get medical treatment for an expensive vitamin c serum that was already rancid when I bought it. Cheap bottles without pumps just let air in, and an irresponsibly packaged product can literally hurt your face. I've learned to be skeptical of any company that won't stand behind its products or rotate its stock frequently.

@cutesnowgirl15: The topical antioxidants that I believe work the best are caffeine, extracts from green tea, and vitamins C and E. While many inexpensive drugstore skincare products claim that they contain these ingredients, the more potent ones are usually not found in those drugstore products, and instead in doctor skincare lines. One exception that I know of is Garniers Skin Renew product line which contains caffeine, in my opinion a very effective antioxidant.
