I have a dumb question. Why don't they ever show Moses? Why just light and not a figure?

we muslims don't picture or draw our prophets - it is considered haram. It could happen that someone would worship them like christians do (they draw a picture of Mary and then pray to her etc)

Interesting. But how are you able to have cartoons, puppets, images of humans and animals? I thought this was exspressly forbidden?

something like that isn't forbidden in islam. children can play with puppets, dools and so on...that is not the problem... here we are talking about education and not worsip of these cartoons, puppets, images and so on... I hope that I made myself clear:-)
