Question: Are those end caps that you have on the pipe? Are those aftermarket and where did you get them?

I have an '08 Midnight Custom, I like the looks of the Strippers but was afraid they might be a little too loud.
I actually got a good deal on some black Roadburner Street Lites off ebay (which are apparently the same thing as the discontinued HK Double D's), they look like a slightly longer version of the Strippers. I think they should look and sound totally sweet.
BTW I wish my bike had the black powdercoated rims...I really like the looks of those.

I like the midnight looks/sounds great. I have an 02 1100, I have got mine up to 118-119. Hypercharger, stage 2 jet kit& Hard Krome pipes on it with the baffels removed sounds good. I will have to post a vid or two of it.

Yeah...I'd like to see/hear yours. I thought the baffles on the Hard Krome pipes were welded in. Maybe not. That's impressive that you got yours up that fast...I've never tried to go faster than like 85mph because I don't like the windshield look and I don't wanna get blown off.

how is the performance of the 1100? Also whats the top speed?

I'm not sure what the top speed is...I've never tried to reach it. I was doing 80 mph on the freeway just fine. I love how the bike performs, it is an extremely fun ride. It's my first bike so I'm new & unfamiliar to a lot of motorcycle stuff. I just ask others.

are those the d&g hard krome pipes? I just got my first bike and its the yamaha vstar 1100 and i was thinking of getting those pipes any suggestions on where to order them from? Im in New York

Yep, Hard Krome Strippers. I bought them through the Yamaha dealership; they carry a massive catalog and I got them for a pretty good price. You could also purchase them from the Hard Krome website.
