@sky51778 I've been trying to be "objective" for ten years and it is time for judgment.
-
@35BRE - I never mentioned that he deserves a "free pass." If any evidence comes to light that he used EPO to win any of his seven Tours, I will think of him differently. But until then, I will give him the benefit of the doubt. A lot of these guys that have come out (Landis, Hamilton, Hincapie, etc.) and accused him of cheating, have a lot to gain by taking him down. Maybe you should "wake up" and try being more objective and less judgmental. Just a thought.

You don't tell Lemond to be quiet, You Prick!

@sky51778 Your blinded by the light of Lance. What he has done for Cancer is fantastic. But that does't give him a free pass. WAKE UP!
-
i've changed my mind.... just kidding!
just like in 1998
-
The bot is not clean man....He's never finished a tour before having cancer.(It takes a finisher to become a true champion.) That's how stats work.(when you have deep pockets...it's possible to win 7 straight. Why hasn't he ever tried to win the Giro, or La Vuelta, at the time of his success?

he never has anything to lose since:
-he has a card that says he can use some muscle enhancers.. 'still'
-he is backed by a huge legal team.
-he wont get caught. why you think he quit racing for a year.
-he will never agree to using wattage as a measure for dopetesting.
-he has pulled off bigger tricks in the mountains then any caught doped cyclist ever did.
-look at his team. bryuneel lol.. < im dutch.. you should see his dope rep. :)

To TruthDigger35, I just uncovered some truth too. By reading your post, I discovered that you are one of the many pessimistic, ignorant cycling fans who thinks Lance's story is TOO amazing. I'm a huge cycling fan and I will always believe that Lance is credible and his success is due to nothing but talent and hard work - untess the day comes where he produces a positive test. Ask yourself this: Why would he build himself up so much when he has so much to lose??
I want to say this too. Lance's story is truly amazing and I can objectively see where people might doubt his legitimacy because he overcame such dire circumstances to achieve so much. But, this has happened with many other individuals in the past and I believe he's one of them. By one of them, I mean he works his ass off to get what he wants. His training ethic and his natural oxygen intake ability combine to give him the edge he has over his competition. 'Nuff said!!

When a clean rider is trying to race and place in a field full of blood-doped riders, the clean rider will get exhaused if they keep racing and racing against the boosted pack.
In the 60 minute long Fora TV interview with Lemond he cites the term, "passive doping." Its a term that basically highlights the damage that clean riders in the top-pro ranks will go through.
Lemond had a VO2 max of over 92, he had the ability to place but not recover with the dopers.
