For memorial day weekend, in 2011, what started as a day trip to Roanoke, VA for skating turned into a weekend of full day skate sessions throughout the central and southern VA region.
Starting with Roanoke, I met with fellow UVA Longboarders, Ben Nowak and Travis Pennetti, their friend Ryan, and VA Tech rider Justin Metcalf. Justin also called up his friends, Kids of the Future riders, Anthony Flis and Christian Montoya, to come join us for a day of shredding.
We started out with a mellow session, then hit a pretty sick hill that was tons of fun. Later, we visited a vineyard and not for the wine. Let's just say that no car would be able to match those guys on that road and this footy doesn't do it any justice.
With completely dead legs, that evening I returned home to Charlottesville in order to meet up with Adacia Boards Riders, Paul Garcia, Brian Doka, Blake Deline, and Nick Adams the following day. After a sessioning a right, we dropped in on a couple quick downhills. But between the mad heat and exhaustion from prior runs, we called it early and headed out.
The following day, I headed down to Richmond to see what hills Virgina Tech rider, Alex Potter could show me. Again, my footy doesn't do any of it any justice. Also, my camera battery died about 1/2 way through the session.
All in all, it was a crazy fun weekend filled with stoke. Hope you folks enjoy the footy and remember to always ride safe. Please check out the links below as well!
Peace!

Lovely video, but the dead right channel was disturbing. Big up.

@TheLinkku - Not sure what you mean by dead right channel. Are you talking the Audio? It sounded balanced to me... Could be me though...
