Jake Wildwood demos a 1922 Gibson F-2 mandolin

Here's a customer/consignor's 1922 Gibson F-2 -- just simply put -- a plain darn good mandolin. Very loud, authoritative, and with that perfect old-timey/bluegrass cutting tone. Chop, bark, bite, sweet dark-tinged tremolo -- what else do you want?

So that's that!

Just had to show it off while it's around here. Not a lot of these Loar-period F-2s hanging around out there.
