I'm 23 years old but when I was 3, my mother bought me the video tape, and I loved watching it, especially learning how to make paper lanterns. ^^

@redredreds100 OH, I see, I was confused there for a minute, picture book, haha, that's where she has a tray of various items, tells you to coseyour eyes, removes one and then you have to guess what's missig. "no peeping now" she'd say

@redredreds100 yes i had this on video, my mum got it from somewhere, it had the picture book episode where they showed you how to make paper lanterns x

@TheDisneygirl211 the original "Watch With Mother" is even older than I am, was looking at various episodes, and they were shown in 1950. I'm not sure how you managed to grow up with this, if you are only 20. saying you watched this at 5, which would be 1996?? are you sure you got the right programmes??

I have faint memories of sitting beside my mum watching this. Sadly, she left us far to early and now the memories are really poigniant. Such happy days!

Omg. I just realised that I still know how to make those paper lanterns...
She taught me how to make paper lanterns and I loved making them all the time even when it wasn't xmas!

i am so with you on this, after this, bill and ben, ragtail and bobtail, woodentops, and andy pandy, i was around 5, i'm now 53, this really brings tears to my eyes
