4th Off Broadway Lubbock, TX

4th On Broadway is billed as the largest free street festival in Texas and is held every year in Lubobck, TX on July 4.

This year the local Democratic Party decided to use this venue to attract attention to the most exciting election in recent memory and to our outstanding candidates.

The day was a smashing success. This 2 minute and 33 second video is a tribute to the volunteers who made this effort so successful and to the many people who stopped by to pick up literature and talk and to the many people who stopped by and took the seven or eight minutes required to register to vote. Thanks for participating in our mission of Hope and in helping us to change our world.

I went to everyone since I was a child up until 2001 when I left Lubbock to begin a journey of my own. I returned for Lubbock in 2004-2005 and attended the festival, even volunteered for the one in 2005, and left Lubbock once again. But this year 2008, I was able to see it one last time with the special concert featuring Mac Davis.
