469 BC399 BC was a Classical Greek philosopher. Credited as one of the founders of Western philosophy, in reality he is an enigmatic figure known only through other people's accounts. It is Plato's dialogues that have largely created today's impression of him.Perhaps his most important contribution to Western thought is his dialectic method of inquiry, known as the Socratic Method or method of "elenchus," which he largely applied to the examination of key moral concepts such as the Good and Justice. @JNathanK2011 Unfortunately, people today would rather obtain celebrity status than achieve a vast knowledge of humanities and philosophy. I would be in favour of tax exempt schools for philosophy studies. Maybe it would help shape a better society for future generations rather than what we have thrown together for ourselves today.

We need free schools that teach classical philosophy. Maybe they could get a tax exempt status, because i think they'd be more useful than a lot of these churches. Its just sad that Socrates only gets 20,000 views when someone like Lady Gaga gets 20 million.
