Me and my girlfriend of the time 20 years ago now my wife used to go saturdays ,there used to be a really creepy bloke there .Iwould have the the quarter pounder with special sauce ,fries and she would have 2 wimpys and fries ,greedy bitch.simple times..ahhh

domwhellams got me a job there too in 84. i lasted a lot longer than him and can make a much better brown derby and knickerbockerglory ! still in touch with the hussain family who ran it from the 70s through til the 90s. guymilner

I used to go there too! In lunch breaks when I worked in Bell's, the camping shop next to the post office. It was quite unlike other fast food places: a plusher feel to it (those red imitation-leather seats) and you could ask for things that weren't on the menu. I used to love their egg and chips. It was run by a family - Greek, I think. Later Wimpy ripped out the old seating and put in the more usual plastic tubular seats and tables later.

I used to work there !!! in the early 80's !!! im now Operations Director for an offshore Global Company, can still make a brown derby !!!
