  • i like jeff bridges in the movie the big lebowski.. but not so much in true grit....thinkin its cuz the duke is..well..the duke!!! hes often imitated NEVER duplicated... :)

  • @Flooner75 you're an idiot....seen many movies have you? Glen wasn't that bad at all...not bad at all...can you name other singer/sogwriter/guiatrists better?? I'd like to see that list. And, LOL..."pretty good" singer??? LOL...you're hearing's off too. Try one of the greatest singers in history. There's over 50,000,000 reasons.

  • The new release of true grit by the coens - saw it, didnt like it ! Doesnt hold a candle to the hathaway release with the duke, campbell, darby, duvall and hopper.... seankenan - nicely done.

  • @Flooner75 I just love people that TRY to put words into my mouth. I didn't condemn anything. I gave my opinion (which I'm entitled to). Go bother someone else that cares what you have to say.

  • @HARRYRABBITvmkname - I just love people who condemn things they haven't even seen. Nice, objective opinion there, man.

  • Glen Campbell was a pretty good singer but, face it, he was the worst actor on the face of this planet. And Jeff Bridges played Rooster Cogburn much closer to the character in the Portis book than John Wayne did...John Wayne played John Wayne, that's all.

  • Jeff Bridges is no Rooster Cogburn, that much i know.

  • Ive seen the new version and it is not even close to the original movie. Glen Campbell played a good part with the Duke. Nice song

  • I haven't seen the new True Grit & don't really care to. Jeff Bridges is no John Wayne. I don't think a remake of True Grit & the Legendary John Wayne should have been done. Good song & nice pictures.
