Ice House Lake, El Dorado National Forest, California

Was camping at the nearby Wolf Creek campground along the shore of Union Valley Reservoir and decided to go check out some of the other nearby lakes. This video depicts just how high the lake really is. It's not incredibly often that you see such lush vegetation so close to the shore; There is always that "rim" -- The water is so high in fact, that the staircase I walked down was partially under water! Beautiful scenery, weather, and water!

You dont get it. I know that the lake is awesome. I was saying it sucked so when people look up ice house to take their family there and come across this video they might think that they shouldn't go there. Lets keep the lake on the down low and clean. Have you seen what the russians have done to the lake in the past 5 years. They come up there in swarms and its getting crowded and trashed.

Ah this lake sucks. Dont take your kids there. Drunk hillbilly rednecks will kidnap them. Bears will eat your daughters. Water is toxic. Very noisey. Fishing sucks. I dont know anyone would waste the time to film this and post it. Go to union valley. Much better lake. ;)

I went fishing there all the time for trout bout 20 feet from there always caught fish nice place.
