@jgh5017 Actually having had three chins, no. They can be calm and quiet but as all the Japan Chin sites say, these are lively little dogs-- aka they can be playful and hyper at times. Can't wait to read your Chin's blog

We got ours from the ASPCA in Anne Arundel County, luck of the draw though. Worth a look still.
