I moved to SW london about a year ago and noticed this place out the window of the bus one day. I skated once and then just couldn't get it out of my head. I even dreamed about this place. It really does have some sort of magenetic attraction to those who don't like skating perfect concrete parks and like a bit of gnar. But there is also an odd spiritual feel to this park. I will remember it long after I have left and/ or it gets taken away from us.

So it looks like the bowl has been cleaned up a bit? Last time I went (summer 2007) it was in crappy condition.

thats where i learnt to roll on a board. then they put the lip in and i learnt to skate lips. that bowl is my skateboarding spiritual home!! great video and it brings justice to the vibe of kennington. cheers niallk!
