Test Driving the Salomon Enduro XT800

DO ROCKERED SKIS ROCK? DEMO BEFORE YOU BUY

I won a pair of Salomon skis at the end of last season. It was the Harold S. Hirsch award given by the North American Snowsports Journalists Association (NASJA) for Excellence in Snowsports Videos, and the prize was any pair of skis made by Salomon, who so generously supported the program. I selected their Enduro XT800 model, one step below the top of the line and a ski that features hot new rocker technology.

The only problem was that I had purchased a new pair of skis two weeks before I found out I won the prize. So here I was with two new pairs of skis. Were the Salomons, which I could resell at the RadXSports eBay store for a good price. Could I pass up the difference between what I could get for a slightly used pair of good skis and what the unused new models will sell for - a difference of about $750. Tune in to find out.
