Centrifuge Integrated with Liquid Handler

A centrifuge is installed into the deck of a Zinsser Analytic automated liquid handler. The robot gripper moves racks of tubes from the liquid handler deck into the centrifuge. The centrifuge uses an "indexing" function so that the rotor is placed in the right position for the robot gripper to be able to access it. An integrated centrifuge is advantageous for automating sample preparations, including QUECHERS.
