Hello! This is my theory and story of the Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie 'Stop n Swop'! (You Saying: Not That Again!)

hmm. Wasn't really much of a theory.. The real mystery is what they would've unlocked.

What they unlocked was supposed to be used through a process that involved removing the cartridge and putting in Banjo-Tooie, or Banjo-Kazooie. However, the reason they did not include this was a hardware change that limited the amount of time the cartridge could be outside of the system from 10 seconds, to a mere 1 second, making it impossible to do this. This is why they made all the things Stop n' Swop was SUPPOSED to unlock, un-lockable during normal gameplay.

I thought they stopped the "Stop N Swap" cause developers didnt have enough time/memory (one or wo not sure which yet) to put it in the final version.

Yes, for the 64 Version, but they ow have enabled it in the XBox Versions.

my theory is only get the ice key, and the pink and blue eggs for bk then get the same for bt with bt first then after getting the last thing mumbo shows at the ending scene then quickly try to get the switched in two seconds from whenyou get it

@rubyknight294 Also in nuts and bolts bottles says he could tell you what it does, but then he would have to kill you, which he cant since its an e rated game. So he doesn't speak of it.

@rubyknight294 Yeah I know all abuot why it was dropped, but they actually had bigger plans for what it did. People hacked the game to find out and all we know is it would unlock a mode where p-2 could control the enimies, and meybe even a secret level. Hacking also suggests the ice key could be used in dk64. (although nobody knows what it would do in dk64) Also there was a preview in nintendo power for banjo tooie that showcased something not in the game.

I know how to solve stop n swop. Get the eggs and then smash them on ground and see what comes out.

all i can say is that these connections with games and systems are CRAZZY!!! i got confused towards the end X)

the game was so easy compared to tooie. I finished and he showed the eggs and cool moving pictures.
