Back in the early 90's I attended a Zero show in Berkeley. Pete Sears couldn't make the gig, so Tom Constantin was sitting in. It was an amazing show, and afterward I saw Tom standing by the stage door with a friend, and though I probably should have let him be, I approached him just to say how much I enjoyed his playing, and how I could hear his contribution to the Dead's sound in his playing. Tom was very gracious and I'll always remember that. He has an amazing sparkle about him. Thanks!
