I'm sure this will be boring as hell for most of you, but I had some requests from friends and family to put it up.

On October 16, 2007 my brother Cass (who most of you will know from "Buddies") and I began the 14 hour drive from Calgary to Victoria. We had spent the previous several days packing up my house in preparation for our move. Annetta and Rosie were staying in Victoria with her family, so it was just us boys to get everything done. After four days of packing, we finally had the truck loaded up and were ready to head out across the mountains to my new home.

And this is the video of our journey.

Lots of beautiful scenery as we crossed the mountains, and you can witness our slow decent into madness as the lack of sleep grinds us into pulp. In particular, you might want to stick around for the Ferry Terminal scene...

Nothing fancy editing-wise, I basically just took the video and threw some titles on it. Oh, and there's a smidgen of bad language, so like viewer discretion and all that jazz.

It certainly helped to keep us awake! Cass and I like all the same music, so it was easy to pick stuff that we would both enjoy for the trip. Man, if we DIDN'T have music we would most surely have gone mad. Although, some might say we went mad anyway if the ferry terminal scene was any indication...hehehe

I've been thinking of moving out west for a long time, and seeing the landscapes of Alberta and BC makes me want to even more! I'd love to live in BC and wake up to the Pacific and the mountains every morning. The best we have here in Ontario is industrial parks and Lake Ontario. It's not a bad province, it's just...boring!
